Freital in December 2010 Dear visitors of this blog, my party friends!
is the first complete year in government behind us and we have not lost much support among the people. Why is this, and like I want to deepen at this point as FDP chairman of a local branch any further. Especially for our communal responsibility, and especially in terms Freital, I think we did a good job. Since we are only three of 34 members in the Freitaler City Council, it is on every idea and initiative needed to find majorities and win another group of its own. This can not succeed every time, but for example on issues of "Day of the Saxons" and "better pay for day mums" certainly continue to be successful. So we could implement our demand for flexible daycare opening times and setting up a Christmas market on Burgk Castle (photo above) substantially. I am also delighted that the construction of wind mountain railway will succeed obvious - and all without government funding. However, the reality unfortunately led to the closure of the Windbergarena, for which probably no economically acceptable concept is feasible. As a party that is free of ideological pipe dreams, we must accept this fact. On the other issues such as urban development, tourism marketing and increasing the attractiveness of Dresdner Straße we stay tuned, we will drive the Government and seek allies in other groups. In this sense I wish you / us all a Merry Christmas and a happy and prosperous 2011. your Dr. Oliver May, Chairman
